Most Americans would trim liberties to be safer
The sad thing is that you really aren’t safer. Then again, this is a society that voted we should give background checks to people so they can or cannot invoke their second amendment right.

The survey found 51 percent of Americans agreeing that “it is necessary to give up some civil liberties in order to make the country safe from terrorism.”
