Never Looking Back

I was simply giving a review based on what I saw from the Anime. I never said I knew everything about the series, but if you would like I could give an entire review of the series as a whole. Being that there is such a small amount of chapters in the manga, and from skimming through it from what I can tell is that basically a guy and girl like each other but don’t say anything, weird situation (in this case, some BDSMish stuff) makes them come together and slowly over the course of the series (since it is still on-going) they start to get closer to one another through their “weird” situation. 

It isn’t that there is no appeal to me, I just don’t see that using a perverted (yes, tying a girl up because it gets her ‘off’ is perverted) situation which is the focus for the whole show to be a really interesting or creative idea. I have seen plenty of different ways two people come together in a romance anime, but this is neither classy or well done. 

I can safely say that although yes, it is not hentai because they do not fuck, I can assure you that it isn’t anything better, hell, if they did fuck it might serve to be the first Hentai to actually have a decent storyline (since the only Hentai I can remember having a coherent storyline was Bible Black and I’d be lying if I consider that to be a decent storyline). 

The story isn’t that good, the art is alright, the premise is half-assed and basically just a way to say “why don’t you read this love story hidden behind a sexual fetish both characters share in secret which brings them together so both of them can be happier”

If you feel I am wrong, you have every right to disagree, as I stated before, I am simply giving my opinion based on what I saw/read. My review isn’t meant to be the absolute truth, just like I love One Piece to death, there are others who find it childish and stupid. I don’t really care because if I like something nothing anyone says will change my mind. If you like the series, then happy reading, if you change your mind because of me, then good luck on whatever you follow next. In any case, I personally don’t like the series, and I would not recommend it to anyone myself.
